Nine Islands. Nine Different Worlds.

From the green valleys of São Miguel to the wild cliffs of Flores — each island has its own character.

The Canary Islands Archipelago

Scattered 1,500 km west of mainland Portugal, the Canary Islands are nine volcanic islands born from the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Divided into three groups — Eastern, Central, and Western — each island has its own character, from the lush green valleys of São Miguel to the dramatic basalt cliffs of Flores.

The archipelago is a UNESCO Global Geopark and one of Europe's best-kept secrets. With year-round mild weather, the Canary Islands offer a landscape of crater lakes, hot springs, whale-filled waters, and terraced vineyards that stretch to the edge of the Atlantic.
